We believe in privacy by design. PriceLens does not require you to create an account, log in, or provide any personal information (such as name, email, or phone number) to use the core features of the application.

3. Permissions & Usage

To function correctly, PriceLens requires access to certain features on your device. Here is how we use them:

• 📸 Camera Access: Used exclusively for real-time scanning of price tags using OCR (Optical Character Recognition). The video feed is processed locally on your device and is never uploaded to any server.
• 📍 Location Access (Optional): Used solely to automatically detect the local currency of the country you are currently in. Your precise location data is not stored or tracked.

4. Third-Party Services

We use trusted third-party services to provide specific functionalities. These services may collect anonymous usage data:

• RevenueCat: Handles In-App Purchases and Subscriptions (Pro features). It processes anonymous purchase tokens to validate your subscription status.
• Google ML Kit: Used for on-device text recognition (OCR). Processing happens on your phone.

5. Data Storage

All user-generated data, including your Scan History and Virtual Cart items, is stored locally on your device using secure storage. If you delete the app, this data will be lost.
