Terms of Use (EULA)

1. Introduction & Acceptance

This End User License Agreement ("Agreement") is a legal agreement between you ("User") and the developers of PriceLens ("we," "us," or "our").

By downloading, installing, or using the PriceLens app, you agree to be bound by the terms of this Agreement. If you do not agree to these terms, do not use the App. We grant you a non-transferable, non-exclusive license to use the App on your devices, subject to these Terms.

2. Subscription Services & Pricing

PriceLens offers a "PRO" service ("PriceLens PRO") that unlocks premium features, including unlimited scanning, AI detection, and advanced currency tools. PriceLens PRO is available via auto-renewing subscriptions.

Subscription Plans

We offer the following auto-renewing subscription tiers:

Free Trial

Certain subscriptions may offer a free trial period (e.g., 3 days or 1 week). If you activate a free trial, you will not be charged until the trial period ends. Any unused portion of a free trial period, if offered, will be forfeited when the user purchases a subscription to that publication, where applicable.

3. Billing, Renewal, and Cancellation Policy

Payment Terms

• Payment charged to Apple ID: Payment will be charged to your iTunes/Apple ID Account at confirmation of purchase.
• Renewal Charges: Your account will be charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period. The cost of the renewal will match the initial subscription price unless otherwise notified.

How to Cancel (Turn off Auto-Renewal)

You have the right to cancel your subscription at any time. Canceling a subscription turns off auto-renewal, but you will retain access to PRO features until the end of your current billing period.

To cancel your subscription on iOS:

1. Open the Settings app on your iPhone or iPad.
2. Tap your Name at the top of the screen.
3. Tap Subscriptions.
4. Tap PriceLens.
5. Tap Cancel Subscription. If you do not see a "Cancel" button, the subscription is already canceled and will not renew.

Note: Uninstalling the app does NOT cancel your subscription. You must cancel it via the Settings app as described above.

4. Currency Data & Liability Disclaimer

PriceLens uses third-party APIs (e.g., Frankfurter API) to provide currency exchange rates.

• Informational Purpose Only: All exchange rates and converted prices displayed in the app are for informational purposes only.
• Accuracy Not Guaranteed: While we strive for accuracy, we cannot guarantee the real-time precision of data. Real-world rates charged by credit card providers or banks may differ significantly due to fees and market volatility.
• No Liability: PriceLens and its developers are not liable for any financial losses, errors, or decisions made based on the data provided by the app. Always verify official rates before making transactions.

5. Intellectual Property

The PriceLens app, including all visual designs, code, trademarks, and content, is the exclusive property of the developer. You are not allowed to copy, modify, distribute, or reverse-engineer any part of the app.

6. Updates to These Terms

We reserve the right to update or modify these Terms of Use at any time. Changes will be effective immediately upon posting the updated terms on this page. Your continued use of the app after any changes signifies your acceptance of the new terms.
